Deep Pockets, the introduction
How Deep Pockets came to be…
I realised a few weeks ago that when I started writing on Deep Pockets I didn’t really give an introduction as to what it stands for! So here it goes!
I started Deep Pockets in January 2018 while I was on maternity leave. The main reason for starting this blog is my passion for managing finances, desire to do more research in areas around finance and to share my experiences. I looked around and blogs struck a chord with me because they were personal and non-formal ways of communicating valuable information!
Why the name Deep Pockets?
I wanted to write about personal finances, good money management skills and share my knowledge. I also wanted to really look at the habits of wealthy people, take any lessons and share with others! That is how Deep Pockets was born! Deep Pockets refers to wealth. Wealthy people have certain habits that help them retain and acquire more wealth. I’m fascinated by this and I hope the information I will share will be beneficial to others.
What is Deep Pockets hoping to achieve?
If I had Deep Pockets Finance when was 18, I would have made wiser choices and I would started having healthy financial habits at an early age. I believe that hindsight is only beneficial if you learn from your mistakes. I hope my experiences can help young adults, my research can benefit both millennials the older generation.
